Jen Leppert is a Beachbody coach and we are so lucky to have her in our area to help us achieve our resolutions in 2012. She has done all of the Beachbody programs, (P90x, INSANITY, and TurboFire)

We are going to start out doing Power90 (Intro to P90x). Please bring light weights or resistance bands to class if you have them. The Hospice Holiday 5K Run/Walk is one of the few community driven events on the circuit! This is one of the first races of the season, in this area. Walkers and runners are looking forward to kicking off their New Year’s Resolutions at the first hint of spring weather! Since this year is our 10^th Anniversary, we are adding some new ideas and our goal is $20,000.

This event is recognized as one of the major events in our community.  The race has the Endorsement of the Governor’s Council and our course is USA Track and Field Certified again this year. Most of the goods and services used at our event are generously donated or provided at cost, by our local businesses. Your generous sponsorships, donations, and volunteering, have made us one of the top supporting events for the Allegiance Hospice since the first race ten years ago.

New to the race schedule this year is the

Spaghetti Dinner/Silent Auction on Friday, March 9^th.

This will be held at Columbia Township Fire Station from

4:00 – 8:00pm.

This will be a good time to pick up pre-registration packets and participate in our

 Silent Auction. This is open to public, not just the race participants.

Cost is by donation.

We are currently still taking participation registration, you can go to www.active.com, download the registration form on the Sacred Touch website, or come into the office. Deadline for $25.00 early registration is February 24, 2012.

 We need items for the silent auction. If you would like to donate an item to our Silent Auction please call us at 517-592-3030 or go to our website at www.sacredtouchbrooklyn.com, to download the sponsorship request forms.

All net proceeds will support Allegiance Hospice, in Jackson, which is our community’s only not-for-profit hospice agency.  They provide compassionate comfort care to terminally ill patients along with supportive services to their loved ones.
